looking at this poster you can tell as soon as you look at it that it is a film poster. The effect created here is the bold writing, centre picture, a billing block about main stars and producers,the age rating at the bottom, the names of the directors and the company production names at the bottom. The use of a tag -line at the top is a really big key convention when it comes to films. the effect of these key conventions on the audience is that they are able to quickly pick up on the type of genre by the use of the dark blue, orange and green colours which is noticeably the types of colours used in sci-fi action animations and who the target audience is, observing this film poster you tell this is a type of film made for families with young children. The slight glimpse of the characters gives it away that this is a kids film as the way the characters are portrayed.
